Kia is a South Korean company, part owned by Hyundai. The Kia range of cars are popular due to their economical running costs. They are also relatively cheap to purchase second hand. In the early 90s the first Kia model was introduced to the UK. This was the Kia Pride, a small run-around type car, which was then replaced by the Kia Rio in 2001. There are a wide range of used kia cars available to purchase in the UK at reasonable prices; compared to similar aged cars with the same specification. These cars are readily available to view on online car sale websites, as well as in used car showrooms and garages throughout the UK. Alongside the Rio, a range of variously sized cars can be purchased, including the Mentor; a medium sized car similar in size to the more recognisable Ford Escorts or Vauxhall Astras; although often available at a fraction of the cost. The Kia Picanto is another economical city car. The Credos was first manufactured in 1999. This is a family sized car, similar to the Ford Mondeo, but again this used Kia car can be purchased for a much cheaper price. This model was ultimately replaced by the Magenta. The larger family could do well to select the Sedona, one of the cheapest MPVs available in the UK.
