Transfer your Favourite Photo to Canvas

Oscar Wilde once said that, “Memory is the diary that we all carry about with us.” And on each page of this diary there are special events and occasions we all might want to highlight. Because, after all, memory is a fickle thing and it’s best to have a photograph.

But nowadays there are many things we can do with our favourite photographs. We can, of course, convert them to digital form and store them on computers, so once the originals fade we can simply print more. We can also transfer a special photo to canvas .

These canvases are standard painter’s canvases, and they can either be placed on the mantle or hung on the wall. They come in a number of different thicknesses and sizes and can even be retouched or restored.

One of the most popular options when it comes to transferring photos to canvas is colourisation. Often, families bring in their old photos of deceased relatives and have blurry old black and white or sepia photos retouched and coloured.

While the total cost does of course depend upon the size of the canvas and the number of extra services you require, the process is often an expeditious one, with a standard canvas reaching the customer within about a week of the original order.

These canvases make great gifts to commemorate special occasions like birthdays, family reunions or anniversaries.
